Privacy, in plain language.

We store the answers you write so you can come back to them later and compare your check-ins over time. We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train AI. We do not share it with advertisers.You can download everything we have on you, and you can delete your account at any time. When you delete, your answers go with it — no anonymized copies, no “backups for internal research.”

• Account info: your email and (if you set one) your name. Required to save your work across devices.
• Your answers: the responses you give in each recipe — scores, hours, written reflections, your imagined future, your Ikigai, your bullseye, your network list.
• Payment info: if you unlock the full course, we hand off to Stripe to handle your card. We never see your card number. We get a confirmation that you paid, plus your Stripe customer ID for receipts.
• Basic technical info:when you log in, your IP address transiently passes through our rate limiter to prevent brute-force attacks. We don’t store IP logs.

Your account and answers live in a database we run. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — even we can’t see them. Sessions are kept in encrypted, signed cookies that only your browser can read. All connections are HTTPS.

Just you. Dan and the small team behind this app technically have access to the database to keep it running, but nobody reads your individual answers. We never share your responses with employers, recruiters, schools, or anyone else.

Two narrow exceptions: (1) Stripe processes payments; (2) Resend (or similar) delivers the emails we send you (sign-in links, course updates). Both are bound by their own privacy commitments and don’t see your recipe answers.

• We don’t track you across other websites with cookies or pixels.

• Download: from your account page, export everything we have on you in a JSON file.
• Delete: from the same page, permanently delete your account and all your answers.
• Edit: change your name or password from the account page.
• Stop emails: unsubscribe links are in every email we send.

If we make material changes, we’ll email you about them before they take effect. Minor wording changes get the date stamp at the top updated.
